Terms and Conditions

BY SCHEDULING ANY SERVICE WITH FINAL APPROACH DETAILING, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO ALL TERMS LISTED ON THIS PAGE.

  • Bookings, Payment & Cancellations
  • At the time of booking a service, a booking fee of 25% of the total service amount is required. Booking fees for material-based services such as paint protection film, window tint, ceramic coating, vinyl, custom work, etc. may require an additional charge if materials are being special ordered for your service. This booking fee can be paid electronically via our service system with all major payment types or in-shop with cash, card, or bank transfer. Booking fees not received within a reasonable time will result in service dates being offered to other clients.
  • You may amend the time, date, or cancel your booking and receive a full refund less any applicable charges (i.e., credit card processing fees) incurred to the business, up to 48 hours before the scheduled date/time of the booking. After 48 hours, no refund will be offered, and the booking fee cannot be transferred to another date. To make a new booking, a new booking fee will be required. Final Approach Detailing reserves the right to require payment in full in advance of services if a documented history of no- shows, insufficient cancellation notice, or payment failure is observed.
  • Any reimbursement of booking fees is returned in the form in which it was initially paid and may take 1-10 business days to complete. This transaction is made through the business’ 3rd party payment processing system (Stripe) and it is at the bank and payment processor discretion to transact.
  • Payment of the balance due will be required upon completion of services. There are no exceptions to this. Payment can be made by credit/debit card, cash, or by bank transfer via our service system.
  • Where work is being performed to correct a problem caused by a Third Party, Final Approach Detailing respectfully requires that you make full payment upon completion of the work, and it is your responsibility to reclaim your costs from the Third Party.
  • If, as part of the service(s) being performed, work is carried out by one of our carefully chosen partners (e.g., paintless dent repair, bed lining, rustproofing, etc.) we reserve the right to request partial or full payment for that part of the booking in advance.
  • There may be occasions where additional work is required beyond what was initially quoted and couldn’t reasonably be identified or foreseen at the time of the booking. For example, during paint preparation paint defects are noted, existing film damage is observed, etc. We will endeavor to contact you immediately when we are made aware of this. If addressing these concerns impacts the ability to continue services on your vehicle, any additional costs shall be your responsibility, and Final Approach Detailing shall not be liable for these.
  • If your vehicle needs to leave our facility for external work to be carried out, you will be consulted for permission beforehand, and informed as to exactly where and when this will be happening. Your vehicle will remain fully comprehensively insured by Final Approach Detailing throughout this time. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to the terms and conditions set out here.
  • Prices advertised on the site do not account for seasonal and market fluctuations and therefore should be used as a guideline. We aim to quote the prices advertised, but there will be occasions where this isn’t possible.
  • We reserve the right to adjust any over-the-phone cost or time estimate after we have visually inspected your vehicle. If the vehicle condition changes between the time the vehicle was quoted or inspected and the scheduled appointment, the cost of service may change, and you will be notified to get approval prior to starting.
  • If you have extra/special requests, please let us know at the time the service order is written. Any alterations or changes after the initial service package order has been issued may result in an extra charge. Any alterations or charges to the initial service package order must be approved in writing between you and Final Approach Detailing before any extra work begins. Any changes to fees and/or time, be it verbal or in writing, will not affect the substance of this agreement and all the terms herein will still apply with the new rate and/or time.
  • Payments – How to Pay for Your Booking
  • On the day the work is completed to your satisfaction as per our formal service agreement, payment of the outstanding balance will be required in full. There are no exceptions to this. This can be made in cash, credit/debit card or bank transfer.
  • If the work being carried out is in relation to an issue involving a third party who have agreed to cover costs, for example a dealership having washed your car against your instruction and causing damage in the process, or a nearby worksite contaminating your car with a chemical fallout, we would require payment to be made in full by yourself, and it will be your responsibility to reclaim your costs from the third party or insurance company. An invoice will be supplied with a full breakdown of the works carried out.
  • Vehicles
  • VEHICLE TERMS: PLEASE NOTE – In all cases and at all times, we’re acting in the best interests of your vehicle and will work with undivided care and attention to achieve the best result possible. In the rare occasion of a defect not being discovered pre-booking, upon initial inspection, pre-wash, post-wash or after the detail itself Final Approach Detailing will not be held responsible or liable whatsoever. We will not be held responsible if work cannot be completed due to factory paint or previous repair work failing, undisclosed information, or factors that could not be reasonable foreseen or prevented.
  • INTERIOR DISCLAIMER: If your interior is heavily soiled with mud, pet hair, mildew, mold, vomit or blood, additional charges WILL apply. To avoid disappointment on the day we advise if you have any of the above it is your responsibility to let us know immediately. We kindly ask if you can send a few select pictures before booking so that we can provide a fair estimate. If not, the price will be negotiated before any work commences.
  • Vehicles left with Final Approach Detailing will not be driven. Vehicles however will need to be maneuvered between the wash bay, film bays or inside the showroom and in some cases 100yds to help dry the brake discs (this prevents discs from turning orange) unless expressly agreed with you. Whilst in our care, the vehicle will be fully comprehensively insured against theft or damage, underwritten by Fremont Insurance.
  • Where a customer vehicle is to be driven on the public road, it is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is safe and legal to do so. This includes tax, registration, insurance where appropriate, tire condition, brake condition, etc. If at the time of collection, a vehicle is in our opinion un-roadworthy, we reserve the right to refuse to drive it, and no refund of deposit will be due if the booking cannot go ahead as a result.
  • Final Approach Detailing will not be held responsible for faults that develop on the car, whilst in our care, that are unrelated to any work we have done. For example, air bag lights (where interior has not been removed) and engine light illumination. In these events, we will inform you as soon as possible.
  • Final Approach Detailing will not be held responsible if work cannot be completed due to previous repair work, undisclosed information, or factors that could not be reasonably foreseen or prevented. Final Approach Detailing will not be held responsible for any subsequent loss caused by work not completed within the originally agreed timescale, nor will you be liable for compensation. Final Approach Detailing will take every care and reasonable precaution to safeguard your vehicle from damage or theft.
  • Paint Correction, Polishing & Scratch Repair
  • Paint correction by its definition is the removal/repair of defects in the paint surface of the vehicle. Some scratches or paint defects may be too deep to remove safely. We will always do our best to minimize them but at the risk of removing too much clear coat, we will always err on the side of caution. It is better to live with a scratch VS taking away too much clear coat. There is only so much clear coat on a vehicle, and it can be VERY easy to remove too much material. Once the clear coat is breached and removed, the vehicle panel will need to be repainted.
  • Pre-existing Damages
  • It is difficult to find pre-existing damages during the initial vehicle inspection, some vehicles, tend to have interior components that are broken, scratched, worn out, faded, don’t work or become loose and cracked without the owner’s knowledge, therefore should a Final Approach Detailing representative find any items that are not working properly, worn, scratched, cracked, faded, or broken we will bring it to your attention, therefore you agree not to hold Final Approach Detailing responsible for any pre-existing damages to your car.
  • Dirt can hide swirl marks, scratches, dings, paint chips, fine lines, and marks, should a Final Approach Detailing representative find any exterior imperfections, we will make you aware, however Final Approach Detailing will not be responsible for correcting these pre-existing paint imperfections if your service does not include it. Also, during the course of paint correction, other paint defects may become evident, and we will not be responsible for these pre-existing paint imperfections; smaller scratches, swirls and other defects tend to hide and mask more serious and deeper scratches that will then be more easily seen after paint correction. Final Approach Detailing will not be held responsible should we find pre-existing paint imperfection during our normal course of detailing that you were not aware.
  • Final Approach Detailing is honored to have the opportunity to service older vehicles, however when working on vehicles that are five years or older, items on the car can simply break or fail due to the age or condition of the vehicle. This can include but is not limited to; headliner and upholstery sag, delamination/discoloration of plastics, lifting/lightening of paint and/or pinstripes, discoloration of surfaces and/or mechanical failure to run or start. Having Final Approach Detailing perform services on your older vehicle is at your own risk and your agreement to the terms and conditions of services set forth agree to hold harmless all parties, should any damages occur.
  • Remove Personal Items
  • Please remove all personal items prior to your appointment. Although we will take the utmost care with anything left inside your vehicle, we cannot be held responsible for any personal items left behind.
  • Compartments & Cargo Areas: Except for minor items such as vehicle manuals and/or legal documents (i.e., registration, proof of insurance, etc.), Final Approach Detailing will not remove nor fully clean areas in which personal belongings are contained if they are not reasonably cleared before services. • Child Seats: Due to child safety and liability reasons, we will not remove or replace car seats under any circumstances. We ask that our clients remove car seats and booster seats prior to appointment. Should the car seat be left in the vehicle we will do our best to clean around the car seat but can’t promise your total satisfaction.
  • Truck Beds: Final Approach Detailing requires any personal belongings/equipment to be removed from truck beds to perform services in these areas. Truck bed services include vac out/spray down ONLY. Should items remain in the truck bed, Final Approach Detailing will assume the client does not wish for this area of the vehicle to be cleaned.
  • Vehicle Components Excluded from Standard Services
  • Mechanicals: Final Approach Detailing will perform vac out/wipe down services ONLY in utility areas that contain mechanical items such as vehicle jacks, spare tires, etc.
  • Headliners: Final Approach Detailing does not perform detailing services on a vehicle’s headliner due to the deterioration of a headliner’s sensitive backing over time and with exposure to moisture and temperature changes. In select cases, Final Approach Detailing can use specialty tools, techniques and treatments to address focused headliner concerns. This service is an additional cost to the client and a legal agreement must be completed with this service.
  • Seatbelts: Due to the breakdown of seatbelt fibers over time, Final Approach Detailing will not clean seatbelts with chemicals or advanced tools.
  • Undercarriage: Standard services do not include undercarriage wash of the vehicle. Upon request, this service is available at an additional fee and with legal agreement.
  • Engine Compartment: Standard services do not include cleaning of the engine compartment. Upon request, engine compartment cleaning is available at additional cost and with formal disclaimer agreement.

  • I understand that the doors, tailgate, trunk, and hood may be open for extended periods and may cause battery discharge. I authorize Final Approach Detailing to utilize either a battery charger or disconnect battery to ensure battery charge.

  • Vehicle Cameras/Recording Devices
  • Your services are being performed inside an active working environment. • Due to the nature of our work, we do not offer or imply any sort of guarantee or warranty. We are happy to offer advice on how to care for your vehicle following a detail, but cannot be held responsible for your actions, or any subsequent damage caused to the finish, directly or indirectly by yourself (e.g., taking your vehicle through a car wash, not washing your vehicle, etc.).
  • As you would expect, we are fully insured for all aspects of our work, and are proud to work with Fremont Insurance to achieve this. Our policy covers everything from theft or damage to our public liability.
